Ernest E. Breithaupt

Brother Breithaupt is the son of Rev. and Mrs. R.D. Breithaupt who have pastored in the District of Louisiana for several years.  Brother Breithaupt was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost in 1949 at the age of eleven years.  At the age of eighteen, he felt his call to preach the Gospel he had heard preached by his father throughout his life.  At this time, Brother Breithaupt was attending the church in Georgetown. Louisiana in which his father pastored.

In 1957 he enrolled in Apostolic Bible Institute in St. Paul, Minnesota and there he remained in Theological Studies until June of 1959.

In 1960 and 1961 he pastored a Home Missions work in Frankfort, Kentucky and also served the Kentucky District as District Conqueror's Secretary and District Conqueror's President.

Through the school year of 1962-63, Brother Breithaupt returned to Apostolic Bible Institute where he rendered his services as a College Instructor.

In May of 1963, Brother Breithaupt accepted the pastorate of St. Paul Park Tabernacle in St. Paul, Minnesota.  He remained in St. Paul Park Tabernacle until May of 1964 at which time he accepted the pastorate of the United Pentecostal Church in Apopka, Florida.  Brother Breithaupt pastored in Apopka until January of 1968 when he moved to Belleville, Illinois to pastor the Apostolic Church.  Brother Breithaupt pastored in Belleville and also served as Section Four Presbyter for three years, and as a College Instructor at Gateway College of Evangelism from September of 1969 until January of 1972.

Brother Breithaupt also served the Illinois District as it's "District News Editor" until 1972 at which time he resigned to his being elected by the 1972 District Conference at Peoria, Illinois to be the Illinois District Secretary and Treasurer.
